Andi and Greg were back in San Francisco for a visit. O’Brien decided to fly in from NYC because trouble was promised. We’re glad he’s moving back in a couple of months. Friday, we met for drinks at Habana. Saturday, after Golfing with the Sugars, Grace and I went over to the Union Street Fair. It was madness. Not only did we realize we were old, but we were puzzled as to from where all these people came – good people watching in any case. Apparently, Greg and Andi got an early start and went MIA around 4pm. We saw Marty at “Left At,” where they had spent the entire day. Grace and I started to make our way to Final Final to watch the Pistons game with Matt and Theresa, but were diverted to Ben and Tam’s. It happened to be Ben’s birthday – Happy Birthday! We watched the Pistons destroy The Heat, then headed home – right about the time the rest of the crew was getting their second wind in North Beach. On Sunday, we met up with Rana, Nomaan, Andi, Greg, Theresa, Matt, Jen, Don, and Jackquie over at Marty’s, where we hung out on the roof. Afterwards, we went to California Wine Merchant for several hours, where Ben and Todd joined us and I met Oscar, the Bernese Mountain dog. We finished the evening at Naked Fish, where Simone joined us. Grace duped everyone into eating Shrimp heads and got lit up on Sake. It was a fun weekend.
