On Sunday, I attended the third annual gathering of Z3 coupes at Blackhawk Auto Museum in Danville. There were 58 coupes from all over the west coast (Oregon, Arizona, SoCal, etc.). Grace decided to join me at the last minute. We met several very nice people before getting on the road to meet up with the crew in the city. I don’t think I’ll be setting up the M Coupe for strictly track use any time soon, but it was cool to see what others have done. For now, it’s mostly stock except for one suspension modification by the previous owner and an audio system I’ve been working on for several months. More on this later. Okay, I’ll admit that the gathering is officially called “Dorkfest.”
