Grace and I had a fun, relaxing weekend together in the bay area. Friday night we had dinner with Dora and Ben at Left Bank. It was nice to catch up with them. Saturday we just hung out around home. We tried to go see Mr. and Mrs. Smith, but couldn’t get seats together, so opted to see War of the Worlds instead. Thumbs down from both of us – not just because Tom’s been a bit whacko lately, but also because we expect more from Spielberg. Sunday morning, we had an early tee time at Cinnabar Hills with Francis and John Park, who we haven’t seen in a while. John ended up winning 15 skins on a single hole with a clutch birdie – ouch. Monday, we did some projects around home and ran some errands. Grace’s manager, Ed, graciously invited us to his house for a barbeque. It was fun to hang out with his wife, baby son, and in-laws at their home, which has great views from high above San Mateo. Afterwards, we went up to the city for another barbeque at the Idemas’. It was our first time meeting baby Caitlin.
