The weekend of March 8th, about 80 Carey families headed to Squaw Valley for an annual ski trip. We enjoyed beautiful spring skiing conditions. On Friday, Lucas, Olivia and Grace all attended ski school, leaving me alone to explore the mountain. I have to admit I enjoyed the solitude that day. On Saturday, I pulled Olivia out of ski school early so she could ski with her friends (we had to sneak by Lucas, who was enjoying himself too much to notice).
It was another great family ski vacation. Grace has made amazing progress this season and I’m sure she’ll be bombing down black diamonds next year. I already purchased Epic Passes for the entire family for next season, so we’re committed. Can’t wait.
