On March 23, we attended our first auction at Carey. It was “British”-themed, which was apparently open to interpretation. We picked up Amy and Steve, who went as the sensational pop duo, Wham! (brilliant). I never knew what a fascinator was, but I saw plenty of them that evening. There was some very stellar effort put into the costumes, including Spice Girls, One Direction, Austin Powers, Sharon & Ozzy, etc. Good times for a great cause.
