Saturday evening, we went over to Ben and Dora’s new home to celebrate Ben’s 35th birthday. Despite getting ready to drop anchor, Dora prepared a ton of food, which was all delicious. Ben manned the grill, even with his gimpy foot (torn achilles tendon – ouch). We brought over our Poker set, which had never been used and had a good game of hold ’em after dinner. We started with 11 players, and I did not end up in the money. Allison ended up being the sneaky one, claiming she didn’t know what she was doing – “does my aces over queens full house beat your measly straight?” Good times – Happy Birthday, Ben!
