Last weekend we headed up to Tahoe with the Moons. We stayed together in a really great house in Northstar (thanks, Clara, for finding it for us!). On Saturday, Alex and Olivia shared a private lesson in the morning. Olivia wanted to head straight back out on the chairlift. After lunch, Olivia said she was done so we headed down the Gondola. On the way, she changed her mind. It was fine because we needed to swap out her skis, which weren’t staying on. We ended up skiing the rest of the day until the chairlift was basically closed. Alex and Mike also came back out to the mountain after lunch, so we headed back with them.
Grace was amazed that I opted out of going to the casino that night with Mike, but I was beat. On Sunday, Olivia and I headed out to the mountain in the late morning. It started to snow pretty hard and Olivia insisted she did not need goggles, until the last run where she covered her eyes the whole way. We had lunch and headed home.
The drive home was brutal as usual, but it was worth it. I hope we can get in another trip before the end of the season.
