On July 22nd, we had dinner with Kate and Ben right before their big move to South Dakota. Kate has been with us for over three years and is the only nanny Lucas and Olivia have ever known. This has been a tough transition for everyone (lots of tears, especially Lucas). She’s helped us to raise our kids during this amazing time of their lives. Ben has also spent time with them, taking them on field trips and other outings.
All of us are going to miss them a lot, but we’re happy that they’ll be back often to visit Kate’s parents. So, until next time…
