Sunday, November 1st, was Lucas' first birthday. Charles, Addy & the kids, Kate & Ben, Dora, Ben & the kids, Clara & the kids, and Shirley & Jon came over for dinner. Grace cooked quite the meal. I can only take partial credit for one dish.
Despite the small crowd, it was still mayhem in our place, with Alex, Amanda and Olivia doing laps with all the toys that made noise.
I'm pretty sure Lucas enjoyed his special day. We're planning his Dol for Thanksgiving weekend down in LA when all the families are together. Happy birthday, little buddy!
On Saturday, October 3rd, Dora and Ben hosted Amanda's birthday party at Junior Gym in San Mateo. Both Lucas and Olivia has a lot of fun (each doing their own thing). The cupcakes seemed to be a big hit. After our requisite naps, Dora and Ben also invited us over for dinner later that day. Her mom made prime rib (my favorite) for the special occasion and it was delicious. I'm still full.

We didn't really have a chance to catch up with the Papa Thams at the BBQ on Sunday, so we decided to have everyone over for dinner. The one request I had was for a Baskin-Robbins Mint Chip ice cream cake (my favorite) and Liz stepped up (with a cute message, too). It was great to be able to spend some quality time with the gang and also have all the kids run around. They lasted until late into the evening (until they didn't, if you know what I mean). It was also our first time to meet Euni and Eric's new son, Beckett. He's a beautiful boy.
Dora and Ben invited us to Matthew's 1st Birthday Party at their house on Saturday, June 20th. Olivia was excited to see the jumpy outside. The food was great and the cake, as always, was special and amazing (banana cream, same as their wedding cake). Lucas also had fun playing with Dora's dad. Happy Birthday, Matthew.
