On Wednesday morning, we went on a Gazelle field trip to Roaring Camp to ride a real steam train. Clara, Mike and Alex picked up me and Olivia. It was Mike’s birthday, which I happened to mention to Teacher Gloria. At lunch, Teacher Jon led the group in a chorus of “Happy Birthday” and all the kids gave him a hug.
It was a beautiful day as was the scenery in the mountains. Afterwards, we continued down to Santa Cruz for a bit. The kids had fun playing in the arcade on the Boardwalk. Great day.
