Olivia and the other 4th graders had a role in the graduation ceremony at school, so I attended along with Lucas. It was my first time. The 5th grade class selected a couple kids to speak on behalf of all of them. A faculty member spoke about each child and each child was given a chance to speak.
I was blown away by all of their reflection, gratitude and optimism for the future. It is indeed bittersweet leaving the safe confines of a school and place you love. Best wishes to all of them on their journey ahead.
